Before PTTNBT, in 2018, Shayan Italia’s deeply personal rendition of the Indian National Anthem - created as an ode to his mother - became the most-viewed national anthem performance globally at the time. In recognition of this cultural contribution, Shayan was honoured by the Government of India with the “Global Indian of the Year” award.
